Also, does it crash into any of the Seven Pillars of Earth? That would make no sense, as 7 is an odd number, and the sun's orbit changes.
P.S. What are the pillars standing on? Or is it just pillars all the way down?Christians, what happens when the sun sets?
What in the cat hair are you trying to say.......
It rises in another part of the worldChristians, what happens when the sun sets?
The sun never "sets". The earth simply rotates around it like a chicken on a rotisserie.
Is the world stack upon turtles? Is just turtle after turtle all the way down?
No? How do you know that it's not?
I too have read Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time." ;-)Christians, what happens when the sun sets?
The Pillars of fire by night is the Milky Way and the Pillars o fire by day is God leading the way. This was in reference to the Red Sea Crossing. BTW...In the pristine sky, 2,000 years ago, it could be seen as a pillar of cloud by day. The reference I made to pristine means that back then the sky was just as blue, clear and clean.
not sure what you are getting at but I will answer anyway just to get some points.
it rises in another area of the earth and a new day begins according to the Bible.
Sunset is the daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon as a result of the Earth's rotation. The atmospheric conditions created by the setting of the sun, occurring before and after it disappears below the horizon, are also commonly referred to as "sunset".
The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment the trailing edge of the sun's disk disappears below the horizon in the west. Due to refraction of light in the atmosphere, the ray path of the setting sun is highly distorted near the horizon making the apparent astronomical sunset occur when the sun鈥檚 disk is already about one diameter below the horizon. Sunset should not be confused with dusk, which is the moment at which darkness falls, when the sun is about eighteen degrees below the horizon. The period between the astronomical sunset and dusk is called twilight
"Or is it just pillars all the way down?"
Naahhh... it's turtles... all the way down.
