Christians, what happens when the sun sets?

Does it shine its light on the underworld? That wouldn't make any sense.

Also, does it crash into any of the Seven Pillars of Earth? That would make no sense, as 7 is an odd number, and the sun's orbit changes.



P.S. What are the pillars standing on? Or is it just pillars all the way down?Christians, what happens when the sun sets?

The sun never "sets". The earth simply rotates around it like a chicken on a rotisserie.
Is the world stack upon turtles? Is just turtle after turtle all the way down?

The Pillars of fire by night is the Milky Way and the Pillars o fire by day is God leading the way. This was in reference to the Red Sea Crossing. BTW...In the pristine sky, 2,000 years ago, it could be seen as a pillar of cloud by day. The reference I made to pristine means that back then the sky was just as blue, clear and clean.
