They actually believe that a virgin had a baby, someone walked on water, changed water to wine, raised the dead, a giant flood destroyed the earth, pillars of fire and prophets and adam and eve and talking donkeys and a place of eternal bliss called Heaven and a place of eternal torment called Hell!!!?!?!?!!!?!?!!!

Yes, many people believe (as do I) that Jesus was a "real person" (ie, in human form) in order to fulfill prophecy and enable the covenant of the New Testament.
There is but one true God, and salvation of the eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus.

I am reading this post on Yahoo R and S, and have to ask, "are you real," or just a robot placing this question? Can you prove Abraham (the Babe) Lincoln existed? Have you ever met Osama (Im-gonna-bombya) Bin Laden? Can you prove these people exist? Yes because of those who saw them, know them, experienced them, and wrote about them.

There is no doubt Jesus is real and is in my life every day.
My heart and mind are influenced by his Spirit, and I know if I am aligned with him or not in my thoughts and actions by his life in me. The believer does not know these things (i didn't) but do not doubt they are real

Too many witnesses of history wrote of Him and many wrote down His miracles and ministry. We have actual parts of the original documents? More than they had when the biography of Alexander the Great was written, (by the way,,,they didn't write his bio until 500 years had passed) ((the New Testament was started in epistles within ten years after the Christ's death) and you and the scholars believe that don't you? Those biographies are the basis of accepted facts on Alexander the Great.
Brainwashed?. Who? The scholars who believe the biography of a dead man written five centuries after his death? Or a faithful Christian?

Yes, I believe that Jesus was a real person. I think there is evidence outside the bible for his existence. I believe that many of the bible stories are literally true, but also that some are metaphorically true or legends based on truth, but still absolute truth.

I do agree that there was a rabbi named Jesus that lived a long time ago. He was just not the son of any god, just a man.
You want to know the truth then discover and realize your own existence through inquiry and reasoning.
You will be surprised to discover the fact that your physical identity is not Self but the spirit.
On the standpoint of invisible true identity that is spirit or Atman man and his experience of world and belief of god becomes mere mirage.
You will find answer for everything all your confusion will vanish when you discover and realize your true identity is the formless spirit.
