A long tie ago my brother went to art college and he told me that the pillars in the Acropolis do not stand straight but at a slight angle because from a distance pillars which stand straight would look crooked wile if they tilted them a little they would look straight from a distance. I can't say I noticed it when visiting.Did the ancient Greeks build the Acropolis with skewed pillars because of the curvature of the Earth?
