Is this not proof that the Earth is flat?

You can always depend on the Bible for Proof that the Earth is flat: Before you slam me look at the proof I have presented here:

Daniel 4:10 Thus [were] the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof [was] great. [11] The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:



Prov 8:27 - When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:



Isa 40:22 - It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:



Mat 4:8 - Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them



Job 38:13 - That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? Job 11:09 - The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.



Deut 13:7 - Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; Deut 28:49 - The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; ... Deut 28:64 - And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.



Psa 93:1 - The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.



1 Sam 2:8 - He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.



Isa 24:18 - And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.



Joshua 10:13 - And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.



EX 20:4 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.EX 25:12 - And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.



Believers in the Bible have always known these verses and how it is proof that the Earth is Flat. But the reason I presented these scriptures is in the hops of converting a few Agnostics and Atheists.

And unless you Agnostics and Atheists have faith to believe the Bible is the God breathed word for word of God, you are headed to an eternal flame in hell. This has to be so, because this justice reflects the perfect LOVE of GOD. I hope I have convinced a few of you with these scriptures from the unadulterated Inspired Holy Bible that these things are so. You cannot just pick and choose which words you like in the Bible, as they are all God Breathed. And now you all know like Christians, that the Earth is flat. Was this a convincing effort on my part? I know some of you were thinking is this guy nuts? No, I have the wisdom of God, of the Holy Bible, hidden way down deep in my heart. Say Hallelujah to the Bible.Is this not proof that the Earth is flat?
While you have got to be a troll, it only takes going to the beach and watching a ship sail over the horizon for you to figure out that the earth is curved, as we've known for hundreds of years.
You need to take a class on Bible literature and find out the definition of hyperbole.



For example "ends of the earth" means in all directions of the continent and has nothing to do with geometry.Is this not proof that the Earth is flat?
Well if it's in the Bible I guess you have to believe it unless you're a satan loving ******.

What on Earth makes you think people would read that wall of text?
The earth is topologicaly equivalent with a flat surface , it is allowed to prick a little hole in the ozon sphere then stretch the surface over the hole in all directions. That will result in a flat surface.
the bible uses alot of metaphors just like us humans do for "ends of the earth" but when it comes to facts there are many scriptures that sounds like this....

Isaiah 40:22 "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in."

Im sorry your heart is hardened from even a chance that the bible is reliable....but every so called contradiction has been proven to not be a contradiction. The Bible is 99.9 percent accurate and has stood the test of time. Only book to do so. It is more historically reliable then all the ancient philosophers.

Where did you get this mountain to the 3rd heaven stuff? In that time the earth was considered the first heaven, the sky the second, and spiritual heaven as the third. And the bible clearly states that you cannot see that one until death...if you are saved.
dude if you really believe that the earth is flat you need to go back to school, and stop getting your education from the bible. while it is a great book for ethics and stories, thats all it is in there are stories.
