Is the The Pillars of the Earth overly preachy?
I enjoy reading and I have heard lots of good things about this book for a few years, but I was just curious if it was overly preachy or just told a story. I realise religion is an important part of the plot, but if it is just there as a device and not shoved down my throat, then that would be preferable. So, anyone help me?
