Christians, don't you agree that Galileo is intelligent for asserting that the Earth revolves around the sun?

and the earth is not the center of the universe? contrary to what the bible say that the earth is supported by pillars and is fixed and can not be moved and it is the sun that moves.

Unfortunately Galileo was procecuted in the 17 century for his belief.Christians, don't you agree that Galileo is intelligent for asserting that the Earth revolves around the sun?
Don't you agree that Christians now are just as unwilling to accept science that conflicts with dogma as they were then?
I'm surprised he wasn't stoned to death.Christians, don't you agree that Galileo is intelligent for asserting that the Earth revolves around the sun?
Chrisytians belive earth revolves around the sun....

Get a life and please stop believing everything you hear from liberal TV media...

and foolish atheist propoganda here on R %26amp; S
Yes, I do agree. Galileo was a brilliant man.

As far as I know, The Bible does NOT claim that the Earth is the center of the Universe.

21 - 17 = 4 centuries of difference

4 centuries of scientific advancement

Don't you agree that no one knew in the 17th century what we know now?

Don't you agree that Christians in 2007 ought not be blamed for what was done to Galileo in the 17th century?Christians, don't you agree that Galileo is intelligent for asserting that the Earth revolves around the sun?
Ever heard of "figurative" speech? I guess when you say that your woman's eyes are like limpid pools, you actually think her eyes are puddles of water. Jeez.
The earth revolves around the sun and this does not contradict the Bible in anyway. The next time that you move the earth let me know.
The bible actually says nothing about the sun actually revolving around the earth, nor does it really speak about astronomy. That belief was professed by the Catholic church because they believed that if God created the earth, it must be the center of the universe.

It is unfortunate about his having to die for his beliefs, but then, do you grieve for the men and women who have died for being Christian?
Christians today believe that the earth is round, and that the bible supports this. They have no clue about what the early church taught or believed. They simply aren't aware that by the standards of early Christianity, they are heretics and blasphemers.
