I love The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova

I'm reading it again I've read it a lot

Its hard to expalin the story as there are quite a few stories going on at once but its brilliant its basicalyl abotu these people trying to find the tomb of Vlad the Impaler ( the guy people mistakienely belive Stoker based Dracula on, he just stole the name 'Dracula')

the girl's father needs to find it as his mentor is there kidnapped by vampires

Its a lot better than it sounds,

look for a decent synopsis online

theres a lot of trvelling in the book and hunting for clues as to where the tomb is, if you liked the da vinci code- well this is better not the same but thers that hunting for clue thing

its a bit of a horror
