i saw the trailer for pillars of the earth. i think it looked very miserable.Survey: how would u react if u were transported back in time to the dark ages?
Ignoring the terrible food; mostly in short supply, there would be NO electricity, NO medicines, NO safe place to live (imagine leaky roofs and walls and the Kings men come in your home any time they want), or if I came back as The Terminator, THAT would shake things up a bit!Survey: how would u react if u were transported back in time to the dark ages?

I'd get everything I could find, then I'd go back home and sell it.
It certainly was a very miserable time for Western Europe. Barbarian invasions, religious persecution, social isolation. Even though I love stylistically medieval settings, I wouldn't want to live in such times.
