Ayn rand's books are good to develop your english?

I've been searching for some good books to improve my english. I've read "The Pillars of the earth" by Ken Follet and found it amazing. I was wondering if you could help me with this. I need books to help me with my english. Ayn Rand's books seem well rated but im afraid they are those kind of books that are very very deep and confusing.Ayn rand's books are good to develop your english?
Never read Ayn Rand's books.If you don't mind my suggesting,it would be better if you go for good English Classics and Good Novels like the following-:

-Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

-Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

-JANE EYRE by Charlotte Bronte

-Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens

-A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

-A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Writings... by Charles Dickens

-The Odyssey by Homer

-The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

-Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy

-Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift



-The Code of the Woosters by P. G. Wodehouse

-The Inimitable Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse



Read NEWSPAPERS.They are a good sources to improve English and Update your vocabulary.

They may not be easy to understand because of the style and vocabulary, but if you work at it you can usually get an idea - or a feeling - of what the poet is trying to say. I just read Atlas Shrugged and it was a colossal waste of time. Her prose sucks, her view of the world is overly absolute, and you can tell she was a bitter unhappy misanthrope who couldn't get a date. How many times can you use the word astonished before it loses all meaning?
