when i read "pillars of the earth" , i couldn't put it down for nearly 1000 pagesCan anyone suggest titles of good ken follett books?

It's "Do I have to read Artemis Fowl before I read...?" and it's in the Books%26amp;Authors section. PLEASE HELP ME I'M DESPERATE!!! I need nice people who've read Artemis Fowl Series to answer my question!!!
IMO, "The Key to Rebecca" and "Eye of the Needle" are his two best. Many of the others are so-so or worse.
