Does anyone know any historical fiction novels that are set around 12th century england? I would like a book that had a lot of descriptive sex scenes. Action is good too. So, something along the lines of Pillars of The Earth by Ken Follet.Good historical fiction novels?
If it doesn't absolutely have to be England, try Sharan Newman's mystery (and slightly supernatural) Catherine LaVendeur series. It's set mainly in medieval France, but some of the books take place in Spain, Germany and even England. I don't know about a LOT of descriptive sex scenes (I wouldn't say Pillars of the Earth had a lot of them either), but there are some, I think. Awesome reads, too, more like they have mysteries in them but they're more stories about the people in those times.Good historical fiction novels?
