Flat earth, earth on pillars, geocentric solar system, worldwide flood, moon producing light, age of the earth, origin of species, etc. etc. etc.
Regardless of which items above you might dispute, you must acknowledge that at least a few of them are points where the Bible is wrong. Liberal Christians will admit to more of the Bible's shortcomings...
So if the Bible is wrong about where we come from and where we are, why do people still trust it to be right about where we are going? If the Bible has been wrong, how can we trust it?
I don't understand how people can simply write "the bible isn't wrong, you are" Do they not understand science - even basic science like a heliocentric solar system? Do they really, really believe that - even though there's not a shred of evidence to support it - the entire world was covered by water over the height of Mount Everest?
You might as well stick your fingers in your ears and sing "la la la I'm not listening..."
Dr Hugh Ross is an astrophysicist, and he would dispute your assessment of the scientific accuracy of the Bible.
Perhaps you have some innate reservations about coming to terms with the real God?

Oh, and don't trust the weatherman. I heard him speak about sunrise yesterday. The poor fool still thinks the sun rises in the east and sinks in the west.If the Bible has been wrong, how can we trust it?
1Cor.14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
It is not wrong...
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17?that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
...for every GOOD work...If the Bible has been wrong, how can we trust it?
Very good question. If the Bible is wrong in even one line, how do we know other lines aren't wrong? Forget Jesus, did the disciples really exist? But before you throw the Bible out with the bath water, do some research. I have a list of contradictions that upon closer examination aren't contradictions at all.
Well you cant trust it to have any truth because the bible is a fictional book its all wrong.
The bible has never been wrong...misunderstood Maybe but never wrong.
Only people who are gullible enough to believe it, believe it. x)
the bible isnt wrong
Good point I agree, I don't.
Don't trust it. It is a lie used by the church to dominate and make money. God doesn't need 10%.
1. Bible does not say earth is flat; in fact it is the first book that told us the shape of earth and also that the earth hangs on nothing.
2. Does sky have pillars? Every human being can see the sky and even an insane one will not say that. In one of psalms, in poetic way, David spoke of the pillars of the sky.. if you read it you can easily realize that it was a poetic imagination.
3.Bible does not speak about solar system.
4. Bible does not say moon produces light; moon is called a light. Even though moon does not shine on its own, it shines and it gives out light.
5. Bible nowhere says about the age of earth.
6. Origin of species, surely bible says. All are created by God in his way. God has made a system for procreation and survival of everything after initially creating everything.
Finally, you have ignored the bible's most important message. Even though you know about universe and all its mysteries, you can not create one like this. You have a very small life on earth and on the day destined, you have to go away with all your pride, wealth and knowledge. Your wealth and knowledge will not get you back on earth to live once again. Once you are gone, you are gone. But bible gives us hope to live forever. It confirms our life with God in his kingdom after our life here. When we are sure about our death, why should we bother about anything under the sun? The creator of this universe offers us life forever in His kingdom which is the only aim for us. We don't care about this life at all.
You can't plain %26amp; simple. The God of the Old Testament is possibly the most unpleasant character in fiction history;jealous %26amp; proud of it,petty, unjust, a control freak, vindictive, bloodthirsty, misogynistic, ethnic cleansing, infanticidal, megalomaniacal, homophobic etc, to name but a few of his traits. The New Testament was cobbled together to promote a newer, brighter, shinier face of Christianity (not unlike 'Catholicism Wow!' in the movie Dogma), with various Gospels written at varying times after the death of Christ (if he existed). It appears to matter not one iota that many of the Gospels contradict eachother, such as Luke %26amp; Matthew clashing over Joseph's descent from King David. The problem with the NT is that every single one of the features of the Jesus legend -and I mean EVERY ONE of them-was borrowed from existing religions from the Middle East %26amp; Mediterranean. When you have Matthew trying to fulfil messianic prophecies for the benefit of Jews, and Luke's desire to make things more palatable for Hellenistic religions (ie virgin birth, worship by kings etc), you get numerous glaring but mysteriously overlooked contradictions. Not to mention the various mis-translations by scholars throughout the ages, which have totally skewed the book. For example, the Greek word tekton means carpenter, but was translated from the Aramaic word aggar, which means tradesman or craftsman. So Joseph could have been any one of a hundred trades. Also, the Hebrew word for young woman is almah, which mysteriously became the Greek word for virgin during translation (parthenos), which is possibly the worst literary mistake in history.
not to defend flat earthers but to defend the Flood is two different things. it is right to be skeptical about historical theology, Even Jesus appeared and said to a 14 year old boy, JOIN NONE of the churches They are all wrong, (the word abomination is also used)

however, to mix one fairy tale because of the interpretation of men which is false, with a story that Is true and then to demonize Both stories is just as much an Error of judgment in lack of wisdom as the flat earthers are demonized. there is so much evidence of a flood. that one cannot reject everything. as untrustworthy.

because i trusted the bible as a whole i accepted the doctrines within it as perfect unto teaching righteousness. However, it was faith in me that brought me to a witness and it was Grace in the Lord that allowed me to behold his glory. as i grew older and understood more history, i realized the bible is not perfectly preserved and so with the help of other theologies i have learned not to accept the teachings of men at face value in everything that is taught. the worst of offenders are atheists. they teach false doctrines with intent to mislead and confuse, while flat earthers (at least) tried to continue believing in the truth, even though misled.
I don't answer you merely to argue or be contrary, but you are mistaken.
The bible is not wrong, you are.
That's why there is the Holy Quran, which gives a flawless finish to the Abrahamic faith.
It's never been a history book, nor a science text. It's a matter of faith.
I just like the stories; I don't care if they are true.
