Beloved Christians, explain me about this, regarding the Bible.?

Here are some few of the many scientific errors in the bible which I've found out.



ASTRONOMY

1. God created the Heavens and the Earth in six 24-hour-days.

Book of Genesis, 1st Ch., it is mentioned - It says鈥?鈥楢lmighty God created the Heavens and the Earth, in six days...' and talks about a evening and a morning, referring to 24 hour days.



2. Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses No. 3 and 5,鈥︹€楲ight was created on the first day.鈥?enesis, Ch., 1 Verses, 14 to 19鈥?鈥楾he cause of light - stars and the sun, etc. was created on the fourth day鈥? How can the cause of light be created on the 4th day - later than the light which came into existence on the first day?



3. Bible says Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses 9 to 13鈥?鈥楨arth was created on the 3rd day. How can you have a night and day without the earth ? The day depends upon the rotation of the Earth Without the earth created, how can you have a night and day?



4. Genesis, Ch. No. 1 Verses 9 to 13 says鈥?鈥楨arth was created on the third day.鈥? Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses 14 to 19 says鈥︹€楾he Sun and the Moon were created on the fourth day.鈥?Today science tells us鈥?鈥楨arth is part of the parent body鈥?the sun.鈥?br>


5. the Bible says in Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse No. 11 to 13鈥︹€楾he vegetation, the herbs the shrubs, the trees - they were created on the 3rd day And the Sun, Genesis, Ch. No. 1, Verses. 14 to 19, was created on the 4th day.How can the vegetation come into existence without sunlight, and how can they survive without sunlight ?



6. Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses No.16, that鈥︹€楪od created two lights the greater light, the Sun to rule the day, and the lesser light the Moon, to rule the night. The actual translation, if you go to the Hebrew text, it is 鈥榣amps鈥欌€︹€楲amps having lights of its own.鈥?And that you will come to know better, if you read both the Verses 鈥?Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse. 16, as well as 17. Verse No.17 says鈥︹€楢nd Almighty God placed them in the firmament, to give light to the earth鈥? To give light to the earth.鈥?Indicating, that Sun and the Moon has its own light



7. It is mentioned in the Bible, in the book of Hebrews, Ch. No.1 Verses No.10 and 11, and the book of Psalms, Ch. No.102, Verse No.25 and 26, that鈥︹€楢lmighty God created the Heavens and the Earth, and they will perish.鈥?Exactly opposite is mentioned in the book of Ecclesiastics, Ch. No.1, Verse No.4, and the book of Psalms, Ch. No.78, Verse No.69, that鈥?鈥楾he earth will abide forever.鈥?br>


8. Job, Ch. 26, Verse 11, that鈥︹€楾he pillars of the Heaven will tremble.'. Well, I can't see a pillar over there. Or am I blind?



9. Not only do the Heavens have got pillars - Bible says in the first book of Samuel, Ch. No.2 Verses No.8, as well as the book of Job Ch. No.9, Verse No.6, and the book of Psalms Ch. No.75, Verse No.3, that鈥?鈥楨ven the earth have got pillars.鈥?br>


DIET AND NUETRITION

10. The bible says all fruits are edible (including the poisonous ones). 鈥楪od has given you all the herbs bearing seeds, the trees bearing fruits - those that bear seed, as meat for you.鈥?New International Version says鈥?鈥楾he seed bearing plants, and the trees bearing fruits bearing seeds are food for you, all of them.鈥?br>


HYDROLOGY

11. Bible says the scientific law of refraction does not exist, before Noah. In Genesis, Ch. No.9, Verse No.13 to 17, that鈥?鈥楢fter God, at the time of Noah submerged the world by flood, and after the flood鈥?subsided, He said鈥?鈥業 put up a rainbow in the sky as a promise to the humankind never to submerge the world again, by water.



IMMUNIZATION

12. Book of Leveticus, Ch. No.14, Verse No.49 to 53 - it gives a novel way for disinfecting a house from plague of leprosy鈥? disinfecting a house from plague of leprosy. It says that鈥?鈥楾ake two birds, kill one bird, take wood, scale it - and the other living bird, dip it in water鈥?and under running water - later on sprinkle the house 7 times with it. Sprinkle the house with blood to disinfect against plague of leprosy???!!!!!!



BIOLOGY

13. Leveticus, Ch. No.12, Verse No.1 to 5, and we know medically, that after a mother gives birth to a child, the post-partal period, it is unhygienic. To say it is 鈥榰nclean鈥? Religiously - I have got no objection. But Leviticus, Ch. No.12 Verse No.1 to 5, says that鈥?鈥楢fter a woman gives birth to a male child, she will be unclean for 7 days, and the period of uncleanliness will continue for 33 days more. It she give birth to a female child, she will be unclean for two weeks, and the period of uncleanliness will continue for 66 days. In short, if a woman gives birth to a male child鈥?鈥榓 son鈥? she is unclean for 40 days. If she gives birth to a female child鈥?鈥榓 daughter鈥? she is unclean for 80 days.



BITTER WATER TEST FOR ADULTRY

14. Book of Numbers, Ch. no.5 Verse No..11 to 31. I鈥檒l just say in brief. It says that鈥?鈥楾he priest should take holy water in a vessel, take dust from the floor, and put it into the vessel - And that is the bitter water 鈥楢nd after cursing it, give it to the woman And if the woman has committed adulterBeloved Christians, explain me about this, regarding the Bible.?

sorry. God's timing is different than ours 7 days could very well be a million years, we just don't know that. You have to understand that the Bible was written by men. You also have to understand it has been translated at least 3 million times all by different people that may or may not have copied ALL the information correctly. Human error sucks.



also, most contradictions are between Old and New Testaments - which makes perfect sense seeing that the New Testament goes according to Jesus' plan.

I wasn't going to respond to this but you really crack me up---please give the scripture reference you refer to for 24 hour days. I haven't found it and I have looked through Genesis for 18 years.



But the thing that made me laugh out loud had to do with the topic "Immunizations." I am an immunization Consultant and I can tell you that you are the most ill-informed person I have talked to in my entire career. And believe me, I have received awards for my knowledge. Where in the world did you find the "out of thin air theology for the theory you espoused?" Sorry, you really don't have a clue do you? That scripture has nothing to do with IMMUNIZATIONS! What a zing.....

To answer the

first one. Yes it speaks of a 24 hour period. But that is mans time. God is beyond time. God controls time. So a 1000yrs could be 1 day, in gods domain.

You know what? You need to go back re-read it, s-l-o-w-l-y, To understand what is going on. Man you do have a whole lot of misunderstanding ,of everything you read.

Of course if you look for contridctions, you are going to find them. Because that is what you are looking for.

Of course science, isn't going to agree with the bible. because the bible was wrote from a spiritual point of veiw

But science is also proving the people and cities did exist during the time period, that bible says.

So science is contridicting its self. because it makes science look like a fool.
