Do you think the book ' Pillars of the earth' by Kan follet is okay to read for a 12 year old girl ?. i Read alot of books over the normal grade levle that i am i read my parents books and right now i'm reading ' the voice of war' ... My grandparents said i couldnt read it untill i'm older and i think thats Bull crap they said ' oh no its too violent dear .. yet they let me watch HOSTEL and TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE! and all the SAW movies !!! how bad can this book be !!i understand someon gets raped but that goes on today and you hear about it .. i read the news :PPeoples i need your opinion!!?
I've never heard of the book, but you can look up book reviews on the web, and they might be able to give you an age rating, or something that would let you know whether it was "okay" for you to read.Peoples i need your opinion!!?
Honestly, your use of "peoples" and "bull crap" attest to the fact your grandparents are right-you're too young to read this novel. Aside from being graphic, it has a depth that may be lost on you at this time in your life. Wait until you're old enough to appreciate the work Ken Follet put into 'Pillars'.Peoples i need your opinion!!?
yeah for a mature 12 year old of course and since you've watched those movies (which creeep me out) u shoudl be fine
