Is there a good Medievail game with a Religious component?

I just read a book called 'Pillars Of The Earth' by Ken Follett and want to find a game for PC or 360 that has a strong religious component to it where you build religious cities and buildings and what not. I'm not interested much in warfare in the game but whatever I have to put up with I will.Is there a good Medievail game with a Religious component?
Civilization IV. It's a turned based strategy game where you build up your empire through time, including the medieval era. There is also a medieval "mode" where you skip right to that time period. You get to pick the religion of your empire, and send missionaries to foreign nations as well as your own cities to spread the religion. It also leads to many battles as other nations will not always agree with you. You can also build churches and stuff in each of your cities. It's probably one of the closest games your could find to your subject.

Enjoy :D

tl;dr Civilization 4, Google it ;)Is there a good Medievail game with a Religious component?
The only one I can think is one of the Total War games. It's a strategy one, and you can earn your reputation with the pope. Not much religion, but it is a medieval game (if you pick Medieval 2: Total War).Is there a good Medievail game with a Religious component?
