LVII. The Return from the Dispersion. [in Babylon?]
CHAPTER LVII.
1. "And it came to pass after this that I saw another host of wagons, and men riding thereon, and coming on the winds from the east, and from the west to the south. 2. And the noise of their wagons was heard, and when this turmoil took place the holy ones from heaven remarked it, and the pillars of the earth were moved from their place, and the sound thereof was heard from the one end of heaven to the other, in one day. 3. And they shall all fall down and worship the Lord of Spirits. And this is the end of the second Parable".

For the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, And He set the world on them." (New American Standard Bible, 1 Samual 2:8).
The point in this statement is not that the earth is flat and sitting on literal pillars (which would be sitting on what, exactly?) but it's about God's supporting and upholding the entire earth - having ordered it in the beginning, he continues to uphold and maintain it, without which, the earth would be like a roof without pillars.1 Enoch: What are the pillars of the earth that were moved from their place?
That would be the description of the cathedral that lost it's spires in the Christchurch earthquake...see, it's all coming true! The prophecy has been fulfilled!!!

Christianity has pillars of earth ( what they stand on , even god does not know !) and Islam has pegs that keep the earth down ( on what it does not know !)( Sura 78 of Koran)
