Which historical TV series or movies do you recommend?

I very much enjoy historically situated TV series and movies. I've seen Gladiator, Rome and The Pillars of the Earth. And now I'm out of episodes! It doesn't have to be situated in the middle ages or ancient culture, anything with costumes is fine by me :) Which series or movies do you recommend?Which historical TV series or movies do you recommend?
I recommend HBO's new series Game of Thrones. It is a fantasy series with heavy historical influences. Costume Designer Michele Clapton has drawn on Medieval influences from Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Japan, and Africa to come up with the costumes for this series. I'm a big fan of the books so I'm excited to see what HBO does with the series.

Into the west was a ten part series that came out a few years ago that was really good.
It depends on the genre you like. But if you're into sci-fi, I suggest Fringe. It's epic...
