Can you give me other books which are excellent as Ken Follet's books?What books are good to read just like the Pillars of the Earth?
I just read The Book of Negroes which was very good. It follows the life of an african girl who is captured in the 1700s and taken to America to be sold.
Also, The Kite Runner which is about a little boy growing up in Afgahnistan through the 70s.
My favourite, but it's a little obscure is Umrao Jan Ada. It's the true memoirs of a courtisan in Lucknow, India during the 19th century.
